For some reason, I want to win this contest so bad, so I gave a bit more effort and am really proud of it :)

Valkyrie Profile fanart. Here's a background info:


Shiho (left) was a beautiful maiden who has the capability to strengthen men's morales with her signing (think Red Bull). Because of this, she has been acknowledged by her fellow soldiers but is also ridiculed by other people as somewhat like a witch or succubus. Unfortunately, she is also born blind. Because of this, she wonders about her purpose in life (or something like that).

During a battle, she suddenly stopped singing and eventually had her platoon lost. Suo(right), one of the enemy soldiers, approached the blind maiden & asked her why she stopped singing, in which she replied back that her misery of being blind and fated to only a certain purpose eventually had her wanting death. Suo pitied Shiho & brought her back to Suo's platoon instead.

The captain, unfortunately killed Shiho, for revenge for their fallen fellow soldiers who died because of her voice.

Suo wonders about this. He began doubting his role as a soldier, supposedly protecting the defenseless, and would eventually led him to lack concentration & easily killed.
